If you are a oral health professional, tobacco control advocate, adult or a teen, then this one-day summit is for you. The "Kansas Spit Tobacco Summit - Smokeless Does Not Mean Harmless" event at the Kansas Cosmosphere in Hutchinson, Kansas on Wednesday, August 29th, 2007, is loaded with great plenary and breakout sessions focusing on spit tobacco - the health hazards, prevention, marketing and advertising, and youth empowerment. In addition to the plenary sessions, three breakout sessions will be offered under the three tracks - Advocacy, Youth, and Professional Education. KBD is the Campaign for Tobacco Free Kids' annual celebration of youth advocacy, leadership and activism. KBD is a day to stand out, speak up and seize control in the fight against tobacco.
